An excellent and natural way to clear brush and weeds. More ranchers should use this method.

Lol at 0:43 we see the corn bait laid out like a big eight-foot "Q" on the ground. Probably not intentional but it's a nice irony. Extremely impressive engineering on this trap, though. Just exquisite in it's effectiveness and simplicity.

I'm a little confused. Dr. Funderburg says at 2:18 you need a core sample at 6" depth and if you take one at a shallower depth, the soil will look better than actual because the nutrients are better closer to the surface. He puts the tape at 6", drives the tool to the tape mark, and saves the entire soil sample. To me he's taken 95% of the sample from the surface to 5" soil, and possibly 1/2" at the 6" depth, complete throwing off the "nutrients at the 6" depth" test for soil analysis. Am I missing something here?

Need more big trees for grazing. Animals need shade or they work out all the water they drink. Problem occurs when they eat all the saplings for generations and the big trees get sick or die and then there are no trees and too many animals.

Chicken manure? Yeah, good stuff but what about arsenic? Mixed cover but no cowpeas to climb stalks. What about grazing the covers? Right there it doubles in carbon in the soil.

Goats are good for people who have nomadic lifestyles. Goats like to climb, explore, and stay on the move. IF you are nomadic, they stay with you. If you are stationary, they climb on cars. TRy to jump over the fence. Cause problems... etc.

Don't ever use wood plastics and glass. Because they break in extreme temperatures. Metal alloy is the best for fluctuations. Even diamond breaks.
